Making your own homemade noodles might sound like a challenge but it’s actually quite simple to make. Discover this easy and fast homemade noodles recipe!

How to store your Fresh Homemade Noodles?

You can easily store your fresh homemade noodles by sealing it in a freezer bag. You can keep them in the fridge for 1 to 2 days or just freeze them for 1 to 2 months without any problem!

Prepare your noodles dough

In a large bowl, add flour and salt, mix it well and create a well to crack the eggs. I personally putted 2 eggs, if you do, put a bit less water (around 130g). The dough shouldn't be wet nor sticky.

Add water and kneed your dough

Add water little by little while mixing, knead your noodles dough well with your hands for about 10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Let your noodles dough rest

Once your noodles dough is smooth and elastic without being sticky, cover your bowl and let it rest a first time for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, knead your dough again for about 5 minutes and let it rest for 20 more minutes. Repeat this process one last time (3 times in total so about 1 hour resting).

Cut your dough into noodles

Put some flour or cornstarch on your kitchen worktop and roll your dough evenly into desired thickness. I personally like them a bit thick.
You have different options to cut your dough :
You can roll it and use a pizza slicer to cut them or you can fold it and cut them with a regular knife (i prefer this second option).
Add some flour or cornstarch on top of your cutted noodles to be able to separate them.

Time to cook your homemade noodles!

Boil water in a pot and add your homemade noodles. Let them cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat. You can serve them with any kind of sauce such as gravy, or use them to make any of our delicious asian noodles recipes!
